PORTLAND OPERA PRIVACY POLICY

Portland Opera is committed to protecting the privacy of its patrons. In the regular course of business, Portland Opera collects a variety of patron information, including names, mailing addresses, phone numbers, and email addresses. This information is stored and protected in accordance with best business practices. Portland Opera makes use of this information in accordance with this privacy policy.
Donor Information
As part of our effort to extend recognition benefits to our valued donors, donor names are printed in production programs. Donor mailing addresses, phone numbers, and email addresses are never shared with other parties. Donors who would prefer that their names not appear in production programs may call 503-417-0569 or email remove@portlandopera.org.
Phone Numbers
Portland Opera does not share patron phone numbers with any other parties. Phone numbers are used occasionally by Portland Opera to contact patrons with the intention of sharing company information and opportunities. Patrons who wish not to be contacted by Portland Opera may have their phone numbers removed from the list by calling 503-417-0591 or emailing remove@portlandopera.org.
E-mail Addresses
Portland Opera does not share patron e-mail addresses with any other parties. E-mail addresses are used occasionally by Portland Opera to contact patrons with the intention of sharing company information and opportunities. Mailing Address Information
Portland Opera collects mailing address information primarily for the delivery of tickets and other important patron-related services. Patron mailing addresses are also used to inform patrons about company information and opportunities. Portland Opera does not rent or sell mailing address information to other entities. Occasionally, we trade our mailing lists with other arts and non-profit organizations. Patrons who wish to remove their mailing information from shared lists may do so by calling 503-417-0591 or emailing remove@portlandopera.org.
Opting Out
Patrons who do not wish to receive updates and information from Portland Opera may opt out by emailing us at remove@portlandopera.org or calling us at 503-417-0591. Patrons wishing to opt out may also write us at: Portland Opera, The Hampton Opera Center, 211 SE Caruthers St, Portland OR 97214-4502. When communicating with us, patrons should let us know whether they do not wish to receive mail, phone calls, e-mails or have their mailing information traded to other arts or non-profit organizations.

The Portland Opera web site contains links to other community and opera web sites that we think our patrons may find of interest. Portland Opera does not review these Web sites and is not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.

Portland Opera makes every effort to ensure the security of its network, systems, and facilities.
