Carmen takes us on a ride to the wild side.  Headstrong and individualistic, she’s all about passion.  

Cinderella has something to teach us.  Wronged but patient, she eventually gets her day in the sun . . . and she’s willing to share it, even with those who treated her so badly.  

Rodelinda is the kind of woman you want at your side.  Powerful, dependable, and smart.

And Aida. Who could teach us more about the value and worth of love than the woman who was willing to give up her life for it?  

Albert Herring?  Forgive us for such a thematic deviation, but we just couldn’t resist!  Besides, Benjamin Britten’s rollicking comic chamber opera actually is all about the search for a great woman—the perfect May Queen.
